I have an ancient Acoms 27MHz and Futaba receiver spare if you don't get offered anything better. Arial is broken on the acoms so range might not be great but it should be ok being indoor.

think you need a "my first rc car" with the wire attached car to transmitter or just push it off the line at least it might make it to the end of the straight

looks like i might be barbie burner for a while, coz i've just come back from A/E in bolton..crashed my real car at the end of the straight i mean my street!!!! lol....broke front wishbone and drive shaft...told you i was a crap driver.....
