I think its worth trying. I like the rear roll bar on the SX3 indoors ive not run the car much out doors yet but did end up running it at kiddy to.
It helps keep the rear a little flatter through the high speed corners and frees it up a bit to which suits me.

I have used both front and rear for some time on high grip astro to address grip roll, at the time i felt it helped, however i have improved some what since then, so maybe i will take them off one day and see.
