G, there are two pubs within walking distance, one is a Brewers Fayre type place with food and semi decent beer and then on the way back is the scruffy pub with the pool table where myself and random factor Stu were once taken on at pool by Mr. S Moss and Jonesey and we won!!

Proper beer at that one!!

Unless it is pi$$ing down in which case we will have to draw straws to see who is driving!

Seriously wet for 2wd today. I really believe it was the right decision to abandon the finals - the straight was totally awash and elsewhere some puddles were becoming a bit extreme.

Thanks to Derek and Tom for running race control, and also thanks to all the guys who worked hard in an attempt to keep the track race-worthy. All your efforts are appreciated.

All that remains is to pour over Stu Evans' pics when they're up, oh and clean 2 very dirty B4's.

Well I got home, had a nice take away, now sat in the garage watching Top Gear with a beer and the laptop cleaning the B4. Not too bad really!

Come on Stu, where are the good shots you got of my cars?

it managed to get up the slope easy after the hand brake got taken off lol. Still tho a fantastic day loved every minute shame about finals tho, qualified ninth in the B. Would of like to race them but it did get a bit damp towards the end.

HELLO!

Can I just say thanks to all the people who helped out getting the caravans off the field this afternoon, ESPECIALLY Kirky and his Jeep, I thought I could I thought I could, I thought I could, OH NO I only have a 2WD Vectra!

What was I thinking!!

Hope the video of the event comes out, no £250 for You've Been Framed though!???

Thanks again, looking forward to being towed at the end of June for the Nationals!!

Damian and Alex

Stu and Carrie

Stu Evans has captured the 2wd action to perfection. Brilliant set of photos especially when you consider he was only using one hand on his camera - the other hand was holding the umbrella

Just love this picture http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/northernr...leyrain/50.htm
