Com com bought a few. This looks like a broken chassis thats had either a strengthening fix with new section added ontop of the broken section and would guess the kevlar tape was added to strengthen that area. I cut out mine and bolted across it but seems to be a good fix.

I could be wrong
This isn't my car but a friends and to me that looks like a Teamline bulkhead as it's exactly the same colour as the hubs as far as I'm aware all MMS Nylon was white and if it's a dye job they've done an amazing job!

He's going to get some more pics of it later

Well Gill Losi did drive this car and trinity was popular in the US but still think its an mms casing, mms had a solid block section that the tower sits against so if identical which it looks like then its an MMS version. I admit I almost dyed mine so think they did just that. Also see traxxas shocks, maybe raced me in the past and saw mine.

In 93 was the last time an lazer zx was in an wc final. It was Joel Johnsson whom placed one there it had lwb optima mid body and losi shocks since he was drivning for losi in 2wd , no undercover shots but no blue gearbox . But then again mms type gearboxes are usually rather boxy, edgy so Cant say for certain but an trinity gearbox. Sounds a bit far. I guess dyed or teamline

I have had three nylon front gearboxes, all unknown brand and all white. One had the bump for the belt roller the other two didn't.
I have dyed two of them blue

It was pretty standard but with a few tweaks here an there, cars shocks were super smooth. Nice chap.

Gill did drive for Trinity hence why i mentioned him.

Thanks to Justin i got a basic drawing done on the Petes awesome product front tower but got a few issues as his is for a mid and so far have only one piccy of a ZX one at an angle so still unsure. I did have a Mannie Panesar ZX team car picture, did help that he was a team mate but I have lost it but was posted somewhere over the years so any pics you know of or have please post here.

Ok managed to find a distorted piccy but now more up for measurements from the top hole of the ball joints to the bottom shock hole on the front tower (a direct line in mm).

Iso is a quality bloke, think he is a bit miffed its gone a bit quiet and apologise to all watching, Ive had a tough last six months and yup not anyone elses problems but its kept me away which is annoying. Im getting some layshafts sorted for my car plus if finances work out in the next few months testing a lipo tray for a shorty. Plus have a set of knuckles that were made by a really good designer whom is also on this thread but no names yet unless he decides to say, but think he has come up with a really good concept and believe are much better in design to mine as i admit i over designed mine and 3d prints arent there yet for my design but will be one day.
