cougar back end kicking out help
Anyone. Got any tips on how to correct. This running 30w standard spring an pistons. On middle an inside .wot things should I try

changing the chassis seems a bit extreme just to cure a loose car...

Id start by taking some of the steering off the front end as you probably have way too much and thats whats making it unstable on the back end.
Also you havnt pointed out whether its on power or off power your struggling with and on what surface More info as tom says please!

I'm running the 60mm front link with 35 oil middle on tower inner on arm.rear is 30 oil outer on arm middle on arms parrellel to shafts. It turn fine on power but at mid to exitin the corner off power the back end just kicks out. Standard springs pistons an 4deg toe in.negative 2 camber.
hope someone can help

my point was that the OP stated the rear kept breaking away and without asking any details you suggest he spends £71.98 on parts...
I have lots of suggestions towards reducing the car breaking away, but as Tom pointed out more info is really needed.

Right...
I'd suggest trying stagger ribs on the front, if you haven't already. They make the car much easier to drive and more predictable through the turn, whilst keeping plenty of turn in. After that my suggestions would be: - Stiffer front spring and/or move to the outside hole on the front arm - Front uptravel limiters, ~2mm - Try changing wheelbase. Depending on your driving style longer or shorter could work. - Check ride height is ~21mm front and rear. If the tracks not too bumpy try lower it down a couple of mm front & rear.
