Default airbrush,gravity or suction type?

OK so I've bought my compressor (8 bar and 6 Ltr tank) off fleabay and it came with a couple of airbrushes with the cup underneath (suction type?).

I've measured the holes in the end of the airbrush and they are .8 and .9 mm

I have managed to spray a shell in liquidmask OK ish but am fearful of tipping the paint out of the cup as they don't have lids on like the top mounted ones I've seen..so do I need new airbrushes?

The makes of the ones I have are Fraulein 38 with a gold coloured handle whatever they are.

Cheers

Default

Id take gravity feed ( i use various Tamiya brushes ) over suction pick up any day buddy, as long as your smooth, you won't tip the paint, suction can be tricky at times, and i always hated the fiddling about with them!
