I think the Yank's are running the SC10's for 8 minutes? With current LiPo capacity that would be easily achievable?

* Tracks must be jumpy as possible
* Contact is allowed <-- My only rule inputs

Hope it all works out Mark, the SC10's would be quite fun to watch as a massive heat of them.

8 min heats would be sweet. allowing contact would be pretty hard to referee though!

sticking to kit tyres is a great idea, although I've yet to try my sc10 out on grass, so I have no idea how well the kit tyres work.

the whole thing has to be focused towards racing on a very tight budget.

How about 6 minutes for those running brushed/NiMH's?
Would this be best for all?

Thanks,
Mark

I think 10.5 is PLENTY for the SC10's stock tyres, you would need crazy skills to drive anything faster.

If you run an SC10 meeting at Hereford or Ledbury? then I am definately in, dates permitting.

I'd like 8 minutes, but I here what your saying Mark, a stock RTR spec motor probably wouldn't make 8 minutes on a grass track. Maybe try 6 or 7 minutes and see how that goes.

I ran an SC10 for the first time yesterday

what a larff

we ran contact rules - Mass start final
the race was 5mins long but we kept going for ages after

I ran a 8.5 and i think it was fast enough with lipo

Every one who ran i think will agree it was the best class yesterday at COBRA and exepted the fact that you might get taped or wiped out.

fully backed; and bizarrely, driving the SC10 actually made me a lot quicker in the 4wd class - it definately helps you learn lines and how to drive on the limit

I find them very cool, being an accurately scaled down version of something I find ace. So keeping the rules as close to the full scale rules in terms of racing is what the aim should be.

i.e. Line starts, rubbing, big jumps & big balls.

note to scrutineers, digital calipers and scales will be required to check this before competitors take to the rostrum.

I'm tempted to get another truck, but not if it was limited to SC10s as I can't afford one!

Default SC10 WRCA

We raced them on Sunday gone and it was immense fun. 100% behind a series and 8.5 upwards. Had 7 of us on the track and it was a bash fest from the off

Lets make it happen and SOOOON
