Thanks guys.

I would use white but I am trying to make it box-art....bought some front vintage kit wheels so just need rears but may buy the whites for display with some Schum minispikes.

Just seen Marwan's collection on YouTube.....WOW

Needing some W-5027's for the rear of my Lazer ZXR.

When I Google the 5027's I get a modern day replacement, for example:

LINK

See description "Kyosho 4WD Wheel (Rear/Yellow/Pair) (Replaces W5027) (W5204KY)"

So are these W5204KY's a different colour or design that the 5027's? Now I have the original fronts I naturally want them to match the rears in design and colour......now just to search for the 'H' pattern original kit ZXR tyres.

Thanks,

Dan
The new codes for the wheels are the following, I think that the main difference is the thickness of the 12mm hex section ( and obviously the color ):
- W5203 == W5026
- W5204 == w5027

Keep in mind that matching the colour of the rims is an hard task, at home I got at least three kind of yellow for the same coded w5027 ones.
So probably you need to get more that one pair of front and more that one pair of rear to get the same colour.

The original tires are quite easy to find (I think that kyosho still produce them), just search in google for the right codes:
- W5631M front
- W5641M rear

Bye

I was going to keep this a secret, but I can't resist.

I know Welshy is excited as I am, if not more.

Its a name given to me by one of the RC car magazines writers after i redesigned the chassis, top deck, shock towers and L brace and changed the rear hubs and a few other little mods. We are just taking the design further forward to make it that little bit special. Rear gearbox plates will have a final test next month and will post pics when done.

Finally this Friday I will be able to at least give the car a good test, ok my pivot block still hasnt arrived so am using a bit of a hash job thats keeping it together but should be good enough for a club event. Ive got a Losi 4.5 in and should be good enough to test the belts too. Ive also got my 5500 90C Orion saddles in with ease, mind you i did have to take out the brass plate under the lipo to get them in, but it went in easily.
