Default Silverstone Buggy Club New Venue

Gents/Ladies

From Feb 2016 Silverstone Buggy Club will have a permanent indoor venue, so no setting up or packing down.

We will be running a Short Course & Micro night on Thursday's (to start) and everyone is welcome.
I plan to run cars in their own groups ie 2wd & 4wd so we need good numbers.
If there is a call for Vintage or Stadium Trucks that can also be looked into.

The possibility of changing the Day might be looked into depending on numbers.
You can't please everyone all the time sadly but I will do what I can.

Please make your voice heard on here so I can get an idea of the numbers of people interested.

I will post the location Post Code very soon.

Regards Ian

Default Thursdays

Heard a lot about the great step forward the club is taking, sounds like a great future for the club, and a lot less graft for all members with no pack down

Just from the future point of view, the future of the sport is the youth, I don't let my kids race on a school night as I'm sure most don't so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it FRIDAYS!!!
I would be attending very regularly on friday's but thursdays would only be able to attend in the school holidays

Hope to see you all soon

I hear what you are saying and Fridays have already been mentioned for various reasons.

I realise that I am not going to be able to keep everyone happy but we will try.
News will follow early to mid Jan and the exact day will be announced then.

Happy Christmas and New Year to all.

Ian

First Friday, last week was great fun. A heat of 2WD and a heat of 4WD. Hopefully we can build up the numbers, as there is a real commitment by the club (Matt Owen, the Chairman, is flying in a PR 2WD Shortcourse.... and loving it) and us members, to make this work.

Come join us.

Well done on the new venue, it looks amazing.
I will try to visit when I get chance. Looking forward to seeing how well the track flows.
