I got the car and 21.5 motor second hand so am going to try 2S:

If I don't like it, I'll remove one cell and put the speedo there connected to a 13.5.

If it's too fast just cap the throttle on your Tx, I am now finishing off a 2s SupaStox and mine will have a 13.5 , I ran a Mardave a couple seasons ago with 2s and 13.5 and it was up with the Touring cars for laps (the track at my club is more for 1/12th tho), by the way I would recommend a diff for 2s

I'm so impressed with the Orion Vortex Pro Mod 6.5 that I've been running in my SV2 that I will be going for the 13.5 version in my SupaStox, I've had to get it ordered in tho as there impossible to get hold of straight from a shop in the UK.

Having bearings in the front is Not Cheating... It's called being practical and making something work as it should.

I look forward to your bushes wearing out and slop in your front wheels, then the moans of your useless changing camber and dodgy handling.....

I've heard loads of people say they get hot and start sticking before they wear, I just went straight for bearings as it will just end up that way in the end with the power that is being put through these things now

My Mardave was a different car after converting to front bearing last season

Nice looking install Paul, I notice you have the rear springs setup on the outer holes, are you going to be racing Oval or Circuit ???

The only reason I ask is that everyone seems to run them on the inner holes for Circuit.

Here is my supastox 1S car.

It will be both it's and my second outing at c.a.r.s. Tonight, still have to get the setup 100% which is hard when you've had a couple of decades off of RC racing and are trying to get used to a wheel rather than sticks. Hope you guys like her. Cheers matt.
