Default Schumacher KF in the rain

Hello Schumacher Forum.
Last weekend, I attended my first 2WD race with my Schumacher KF, the surface of the track was carpet, and had fine grip.
Q1, Q2, Q3, and the first main, was run in dry weather. but then came the rain, it poured down for 15min and then stopped it again, just before I was going out for 2 main
I put Balistic "Green" rear and silver front, and then I put U3605 Alloy rear HUB, and 15% TH down on my transmitter, I would have put Ball diff in but I was not sure it was a good idea.
2 main car drove fine but I had problems with grip on the front into the turn and the rear was spirited out of the turn.
3 main I tried with 53.5 g, in the back of the car, it was not good, it did not give more grip, the rear end was more like a pendulum.

there is more I can do? and what to do in, in case it starts to rain during a race with the setup? can you help me ..
