Default Silver compound tyres

Hi guys can someone help me with a little advice

what would be the best insert to run in silver tyres

closed sell, or foams what compound ?

medium foams, but don't trim them otherwise you end up with quite a bit of sidewall roll

I haven't found a surface that silver compound works on yet, are they any good on worn grass?

really depends on conditions like for instance at eden park in the damp. it's the only tyre i found that works, iv never raced on grass but i would think that mini spike greens would work quite well

My local track is 80% Grass/20% Astro and Green BB Spike are by far the best in the wet, White BB Spike are only good when its bone dry and even then Yellow Mini Spikes work best, Grass is a funny surface to race on tho, always seems to feel slightly different.

As for Silver compound, I would use a hard/firm insert or they go out of shape big time when you get a bit of speed up.
