Default Ball joints

Anyone else had trouble with the kit ball joints wearing fast and needing washers on/under some of them to stop them popping out.
Has anyone changed the kit ones for something better?

front top I changed with Losi ones from a 1/8th scale
I *think* the ones from the steering.

one side of the ball cup is larger to let you push the ball in easy, it explains this better then i can in the first couple of pages of the manual, maybe if you turn the ball joint over it will help to stop the ball joint popping off

as pete says the ball joints are directional so make sure they are the correct way around. as a hint/tip tho boil all the ball joints for 20 mins then drop them straight into a tub of penatrating oil (i used wd40 sprayed into a jam jar) then leave them over night to soak. i did this and have found the joints to be stronger in all conditions (especially cold) and last longer in terms of wear

Oi, blitzboy - is The Punchbowl still open in Spalding? Been a few years since I was in that neck of the woods, but I remember it being pretty 'interesting' shall we say?

Sorry to hijack the thread..
