Default BQ hat for N.E regionals

Is the BQ hat still an issue or is it very "last year"?

The reason I ask is that I was helping my Mum have a clear our, and came across a cycling helmet that is horrible enough to form the perfect BQ hat for this year's N.E outdoor regionals.

It's an unworn cycling helmet, in black, white and dayglo pink. Believe me, the pink colour is truly atrocious.

Does anyone want me to take it to the first 2WD round at Teesdale? Who looks after such important issues? Northy?

Well I did look after it last year, and don't mind doing the job again this year as long as I don't have to wear it!

We will need donations to glue and screw to it though!

I say bring it, but it's up to "the others" (just been watching Lost) too!

Will a cycle helmet be big enough?
Is it a bit too much like last years nationals hat?

Assuming the cycle hat is polystyrene it would make a good base for unreasonale-hat-production.

With this pink and white bad boy on their head, I reckon the lucky wearer is guaranteed to look suitably nobish!

What do you all reckon? If you say it looks crap I don't mind, I'll just bin it.

It would suit some sort of antlers, made out of some old crap, stuck out of the side.

The wheels could be taken as looking like some sort of eyes.

A good start I think, and we can add to it as the year goes on!
