Question KR Driveshafts in KF?

I've noticed that a few people fit KR driveshafts to there KF's.

Can anyone tell me what benefit this offers?

Do any other parts need to be used to allow them to fit the KF? If so, what?

Please provide part numbers, thanks.

I've seen KF driveshafts pop out in a crash at a couple of meetings. I wonder if it's so you can run more droop without fear of them popping out because they might be slightly longer. I don't own either but just a thought.

The KF uses a U/J whereas the KR uses a CVD, from memory, the U/J makes the car square up under power whereas the CVD is smoother.

SV2 driveshafts fit perfect and are longer so won't pop out.
