Default Schumacher K1 alloy front yokes steering locking

Hi there.

Can anyone help me with a steering problem I have on my K1. I've just changed my front yokes to the 7.5 alloy versions but now my steering locks outwards and the link arm seems to go over centre. This never happened with the standard plastic ones?

Thanks

Woolly

Have you maybe installed the blocks in the wrong side?

Looking at the car from the rear with the car pointing away from you check that the block marked 'L' is one the left and 'R' is on the right.

Can't think of any other reason for this to happen. I used these block on my K1 and my K2 without issue.

Cheers.

Could the servo arm be catching? I've had screws on steering rack come loose on my k1 before and this happens

Does this only happen when the car is turned off and you turn the steering
