Most definitely!

We ran a Tamiya TL01 on rally blocks with a Subaru body around our astro track at A1 Racing Club a couple of weeks ago, worked well over jumps and got a lot of interest.

I'm planning on building a twin lane dirt super special stage at our venue for some rally fun next year.

With the controlfreax bodies and retroracing bodies available it would be awesome to do some scale rallying

Count me in

That looks a lot of fun! Im not sure I fancy chasing around after my car though, I prefer standing still on the rostrum...

Still got my Tamiya Corolla WRC and TC3 Rally. Not sure I'd want to drive an off-road track with huge jumps, but laying out tracks like that would be ace! Best Rally event I ever did was at the old Stafford track, where they ran on the grass and the tarmac and it was huge fun. I think John Robson only allowed it once, we made a bit of a mess of his tarmac track!

Looks axe, but it does put anyone with above average fitness levels at a slightly unfair advantage.

Where do I sign up?

These videos have been around ages, but no one over here as attempted anything like that. Then again no one runs rally cars on our off road tracks either.

Rally cars work well on astro tracks, I've done a bit of that in the past.

Minis work well as well

Anyone remember the rally cross meeting stafford put on about 12 or so years ago on the old track ? Just 2 classes i.e. 2wd and 4wd running on rally tyres. Huge fun and i won the 2wd class with an old Tamiya FF01

I would love to go rally cross racing if a class was set up at a local track.

the thing with that is, its basically based by the speed you can run round the course. if you not quick on your feet then youre stuffed.

if it was done from the rostrum it'd be ace.
