Put some black grease on the outer gears and it will sort it.

hi
I had the same thing when I put on the alloy top cases, tried all the grease and other stuff but eventually found that the distance between the two slipper bearings is wrong.

The tube that spaces the bearing is too short, so that when you tighten up the slipper it loads up the bearings, I found a shim to go over the slipper shaft and mine is now like a watch.

I think this is a problem with the plastic cases as well just that with the alloy cases is seems louder, reason for saying this is that loads of drivers comment that the SV2 whines like a turbo, not any longer.

regards

Neale
