Cat SX2 shredding rear belt
Hi does anyone know how to stop my rear belt shredding?
I have run the car on a mixed surface of tarmac with a fine covering of small stones and I presume a stone has got caught and acted like a lathe!!!. I have run it with and without undertray but am fed up of replacing belts. Does anyone else have this problem? |

check the layshaft bearing as these tend to collapse and cause issues like this

Is the car quite old?
I bought a 2nd hand cat a few years ago and that kept eating belts. Turned out the pulley was worn. Once I replaced it it never did another belt again. |
