Default 1/10th TC Bodyshell advice

I was wondering if somebody much more in tune with recent touring car stuff (not run one for about 5 years!) could advise me which would be the best shell options for a super tight indoor carpet track?

Thanks in advance.

We race the protoform R9 shells on our track. Which is also tight and small. It gives alot of front grip. There are two versions (f) or (r) which are made for foam or rubber types.

I would be looking at the Protoform LTC-R or the Mazdaspeed6. R9 has a reputation for TOO much steering.

I run Protoform R9-R, LTC-R or Mazda Speed 6.

You can also give the new P37-R a try...

R9 has to much front end.

Mazda Speed 6 or LTC-r (LTC-r has more front bite) Speed6 (More Stable on rear)

P37-R looks great but I think I will stick with the Speed6 as that seems to be the popular choice.

The car is a Kyosho (as if people wouldn't have guessed) and they apparently have loads of front end anyway!

The MazdaSpeed 6 is the best 'baseline' bodyshell.

The LTC-R does have more steering and can be a lot more agressive - the reason this is often used in Modified is to help the car scrub the speed entering a turn - in the slower classes it can be hard to drive - but in some instances this can result in faster lap times than the Speed6.

The R9-R has probably too much steering - Protoform even did a second version of this with a smaller front splitter to try to calm the front end down - but most feel this still has too much.

I've not tried the P37 yet, but imagine it to be similar to the Stratus 3 - so having less steering than the Speed6 - but perhaps this would make it more stable and easier to drive, especially for newcomers?

Speed6 or LTC-R defo! I use LTC-R at the mo but might get a Speed6 just as a tuning option. LTC-R does have lots of front so Speed6 might be a good baseline and change to the LTC-R if you need more front.

Speed 6 is a good baseline shell as has been mentioned, the LTC-R is a good choice for when you want that little bit more agressive steering at low speed (tight circuit, would be good)
