They're quite good, I've been using the older Ansmann version for the last 4 years with no problem. The other benefit is you can buy these super cheap receivers if you want to add more vehicles as it's a copy of the Absima receiver & will bind without a problem:

I've been using the HK 'clones' for years too & haven't had a failure yet.

Spare Rx's are cheap, WOW!!!

incidentally, do you find that regardless of what you buy from Hobbyking postage always starts at £5 odd! more expensive that a lot of the items on sale, like this Rx!

Yes, I'm lucky as I live quite near the UK warehouse so if I'm passing while working I put an order in the night before then pop in & pick it up.

I used one for a year and thought it was great.

Sanwa is definitely worth the extra money, I used to run an MT-4 and it was brilliant. The MX-V has the same quality and precision without all the extra features which TBH most people never need

I agree, Sanwa is brilliant. I have an MT4 as well as an Exces Z (still can't decide if I prefer sticks or wheel), but I also never had a minutes trouble with my Absima CR3P and other than the Sanwa feeling to be better "finished" I can barely tell the difference in operation

(Ps, just tried to edit the post to correct the "correction" my auto correct had inflicted on me and while filling in the "reason for editing" below, I noticed it had changed my reason from "grrr" to "Gerry". If I wanted something to tell me I'm constantly wrong and it knows better I'd have had another child!!)

I have this transmitter, it does everything you will ever need. I made the mistake years ago when I got back into the hobby of buying the best car and electrics out there but bought a cheap radio. You may change car every now and then but arguably, your radio should be your most important purchase, look after it and it will outlast many cars.
