17 JULY Main field madness / champ round 9

Its that time again for some old skool grass action on the main field

Same as before a large grass track with a few jumps thrown in the mix to keep you on your toes

This will be round 9 of our summer championship also...

4WD and 2WD for me please.

Ill be there along with Lee.

2wd and 4wd for myself and just 4wd for lee.

Also, ive had a big delivery today of yellow mini-spikes for both 4wd and 2wd, cut stagger ribs along with inserts in both medium and tubby. If anybody needs tyres let me know via p.m and ill bring them with me.

im in llanelli and the rain is crazy here at the mo, great day for a wedding no sodding photos out side just inside at the bar

anyway i would really like this to be on but this kinda weather i dont think i will take my car out the boot!

i know its early yet but i cant see it getting better here any time soon

Ok so unless it brightens up / stops raining for any length of time we will be running on the astroturf tomorow......
Thats the benefit of us having 2 track areas

Personally i woudl race on the grass but due to the slope of field and amount of rain we woudl be in risk of real cars getting stuck, or chewing up the field which we dont wan't!!

Will post again late tonight to confirm race surface for tomorow

Rather than travel an hour to COBRA and run the risk of getting rained off, weve booked our Wednesday evening hall at Waunarlwydd, Swansea from 11.00 - 3.30 for some indoor practice.

Anybody is welcome to join us if they wish. If interested i will post up information on here regarding location e.t.c.

p.s, not trying to hi-jack this thread, so dont be cross at me Dave. LOL

Weather reports all seem to have improved for tomorow

Some scattered/light showers, dont think the field will be dry enough tho unless we have a dry afternoon as when i just popped there it was pretty wet
The astroturf track seems fine, may have less sand in it again after the rain

The overnight temps are supposed to be very mild - that astro should dry out very quickly

We are gonna have to race on the astro tomorow but we WILL still race unless torrential rain hits / and /or everyone agrees its too to wet to run
Weather reports all seem to think relatively dry until lunchtime heres hoping
