Nice Andy, like your style - 2 Practise runs and 4 Rounds of FTD qualifying

I haven't driven anything R/C since Feb so it'll be handy to have a few practise runs

Lipo's are allowed as per flyer, must be charged in lipo sack, weight is to BRCA rules.

Ash,

2WD - 1474g minimum
4WD - 1588g minimum

All weights are 'ready to race' however if you are using a handout transponder on the day the weight of that will be included.

I wouldnt worry though..unless you are using LiPo with NO lead at all you'll be fine.

I know this isn't the best place for this but here is my major gripe with LiPo.

Chris's car is 1525g with his LiPo in .... my RB5 will be near enough 1700g running proper cells ..... that's 175g or at an ~11.5% disadvantage out of every high grip low speed corner straight off!!!

Oh well ..... will just have to drive 11.6% better to make up for it I suppose

(by the way don't suggest running LiPo to me as suggesting using a body cavity as a charging sack might offend!!!)

I dont know what difference in weight there is between an S2 and a B4...I wonder what a LiPo shod B4 (with lead in the battery tray) would weigh?

My S2 has lead under each LiPo and 25g under the nose.

Of course you are Chris

Not sure, will have to weigh it when I get home. I will be running lipo but I have a fair amount of lead dotted around it
