Default K2's Gear diff pin

Anyone one here snapped the pin on K2 gear diffs ?

Am having issue with gear diffs as 3 pins have snapped (1.5x7.8) so far
The pin located in gear diff gear.

Twice on front & 1 on rear all ran indoor at worksop

it look the pin not as tough it look

I can't remember ever seeing or hearing of anyone snapping this pin. You would need quite a whack of torque to shear something in any grade of metal at that point in the transmission.

What sort of motor/esc combo are you running? Are you sure that the slipper isn't set up too tight (therefore overstressing the pins on landings from jumps etc..)?

Running hobby wing v3.1 esc on blinky set up with thunder power 6.5

Not really aggressive driver myself i do like push the car to it limits maybe would need to look into the slipper set up again

I had the same problem at the last round of Worksop, my front gear diff snapped the pin !!!!!!!!

@ Rob.......Did I just read that right?? You are not an aggressive driver?? Ha Ha....you might not think you are but your diff thinks you are....and so does my ankle!!!!!
