Question hi-fet servo problem.

Hi lads.

went racing yesterday, ran my pred with my hi-fet servo in there. for some reason my servo started cutting out. my esc still ran but could only get the servo going again for a few seconds once i switched off then on again. would it be the servo or rx?

cheers..Alan

Hi-fet doesn't ring a bell.

What radio gear are you running? It sounds possible that the servo is drawing too much current, this is common with Spektrum receivers and is often solved by fitting a capacitor.

Is this a 6v or a 7.2v fet servo.

If it is the same setup you have been using for years then something has developed a fault. Could be anything from the battery to the ESC to the receiver to the servo. Try swapping a few parts over to see what makes a difference.
