Just spoken to allen, get there 5, 5.15 ish. 12v batterys in plastic box!!!!. no soldering in the hall, but there are places you can solder. £3.50 for one class so nice and cheep.

Tyres are mini spks or mini pins (if your loaded)

If your not sure were to go give me a ring and we can all meet up just off A47. As I can get there, but couldn't tell you how

Carl.....I don't know about mains supply but I do know that its located in the middle of a new housing estate so I wouldn't bank on the Geny...The one I've got is quieter so I'll bring it anyway.

Carl you will need a 12v, I think there are only a couple of sockets in the main hall so there is no gaurantee of power there. From what I remember there are a couple of rooms off the main hall that have mains but I wouldn't want to say if you can use it or not!!!

12 volt in a box is the answer. Either that or charge your cells up fully before you come along and ask nicely if you can repeak them on someone elses 12 volt

I know they have computer timing there but not sure whether it is PT compatible, best bet is to bring it along if you want to use it and ask when you book in.

I would go with JCB here, but your car is not to far away thus you could charge off that, I think you have to use hand outs but I'm not sure. I may or may not be racing yet as sara has to work tonight. but even if I have to go early I will bring my gear........bit of team support

Oh yer lads........please WASH your tyres as I don't think they do mud

Not sure about the rest of you guy but I enjoyed the racing last night, especially the second round of qualifying with David, so Carl don't worry about the little tap as if you hadnt have done it the race might not have been so good All the results are on Kellers Website!!

Round 2 results

1 Jonathan Brown 19/ 314.730

2 David Evans 19/ 314.880

My favoured tire choice in the end was schumacher yellow mini spikes on the front and schumacher yellow mini pins on the rear, just gave a little more front end without it being really snatchy!!

haha poxy batterys. good night tho sham I missed the third run! Did you go faster in the other runs?
Intresting with the tyres I was going to try mini spikes next time as the mini pins were ok but a bit inconsistent through the bends.

I hope chris, simon and carl had a good night to, chris looked to be pushing hard at times. And great little tap carl

Yes there is a meeting there this Sunday. Doors open at 5pm racing starts at 6pm finishes at 9:45pm / 10:00pm.

They run touring car and buggies although it may be worth checking on here or Kellers Club section on rcracechat.com as to who is racing buggies, although you can always race a saloon if you have one, or both if you are feeling brave!!

The mini spikes on the front were faster, I dropped my average by a massive half second a lap by changing to them . I think Pins on the front would be faster still, but could be to edgy when turning in on the faster bends as I was lifting the inside rear wheel with spikes on the front at the end of the straight and it would hook more on the hair pin bends. Would be interesting to see how Spikes went on the rear, just a bit less grip which may actually be the answer to getting less power on under steer as it's not like there is a lack of grip up there anyway.

I am up for heading over on the 21st if there is nothing else on anywhere, next weekend I am more than likely to be back at Eastrax.

I really enjoyed the the whole night, i did wonder how we would be received, but I needn't have worried.

Mini-pins were my choice for the evening and in my qualifiers ( where my car was slow ) they were great at both ends of the car. The final , now with checkpoint 10 double installed it was quite a bit more of a handful and it took me half of the race to get it all back together.

Looking to be back on the 21st like JCB if there is nothing else on.
