Its a bit of a mix at the moment and I have been trying to get more structure in to our TC racing, see my touring car thread.

To be honest as it stands you can run almost anything as we only run an open/modified class which allows anything as long as it fits under a standard TC shell. We run Maverick, Sprint, Schumacher, Xray you name it. Most of the motors are 380 class brushless but there are a few 540 motors creeping in now.

What is your level of experience? what car did you have in mind?

Like I say its a mix, we do have one TC3 running at the moment, have you been up to have a look?

Im running belts but its a 50/50 split. I did break a few at the beginning of last year but we sweep the track better now and with a small mod I did on my sprint its been ok since.

its quite a small track so huge power is not really necessary, if you plan to run LiPo it really doesn't matter which one. The Turnigy Nano 5.3 is about right if you have no personal preference.

Im going to be running an Xray T4 next year but my HPI Sprint was doing 22 laps by the end of the year which was the maximum anyone done.

If you can charge them up there 2 packs is ok. We race 4 heats an a final so maybe 3 big packs if you are not able to charge them there.

Hiya, I run a TC6 with a 13.5 hobbywing 60A speedo loaded with boosted software. I doubt you will want to go lower than a 10.5 motor. If you are staying brushed I would recommend a good quality 19t motor would mean you could still be competitive.
