Default LIPO & Brushless Setup for old school Tamiya's

YO!

After a complete electrics setup for an old school tamiya avante 2001 - basically dug this out, given it a bit of a tidy and now looking to get it out and about!

Instead of Nicad's & Technigolds I want to move to a LIPO & Brushless motor setup - will the avante hold up ok with the new tech?

So basically - am after LIPO (in a similar sized case to the old Tamiya style batteries), ESC, motor, steering servo, LIPO charger & Radio gear - anyone out there able to help / advise?

Thanks,

Back last year I ran my old Avante 2001 at Oswestry whilst I was waiting for parts for my normal car.

It held up pretty well against some of the newer guys and was excellent the wet. I was was using older nimh batteries but with a 9 double motor and a novak gtx esc. I was still using my period futaba attack 27mhz radio gear. The can ran well but I was always nervous of breaking it as parts are very hard to find. I haven't had the guts to get it out since.

I'm sure that anything that will fit under the slight shell will be fine. Team Orion Rocket Packs will fit. They are LiPo and rounded - they push out a decent amount of juice too - be careful the old girl might not take too much punishment!
