Default Xb4 Track Width - 12mm Hex Hubs

Hello

I'm planning to get the new Xb4 '17 when it comes out in the next few months.

I currently race at my local club on carpet, average racer. I see more people changing to the 12mm hex hubs with different offsets, a popular setup seems to be 2 strips on the front (+1.5mm) and 3 strips on the rear (+2.25mm).

Can anyone explain to me how the handling of the car changes if you increase/decrease the track width of the car on both the front & rear?

Thanks in advance
Paul
