Default KR shocks

QQ ive got a few cars on my shelf and I noticed that the KR shocks seem to not rebound as much, If compared to say the Associated 4.2, that sits high and on compression easily springs back up.

now ive checked my shocks and there setup right I just feel as though they should have a bit more spring in them.

that's being said ive never known it bottom out, but wondered if any of you fit a stronger spring to it, and if so Which ?

Thanks.... I think im just trying to pitch it against associated which seem to be strong on the rebound.

can I just say I did notice this on the K1 also same shocks I believe, I have tried big Bores but not much in that TBH, ive gone back to black

is it just a design thing ?
