or is

Nene Vally Raceway would like to invite you to our second Astro Attack event at our Airfield Road complex on the 28th and 29th September.
For those who supported last years event a big thank you and I can assure you the Nene will be working to make this years event bigger and better for not only the racer but to support a worthwhile national charity thats putting a smile back onto childrens faces who face life without their mother or father has they have fallen during active service.
Keep watching the Nene's website for details on this event and how you can help.
Those reading this who are sponsored have a word with your sponsors to see if they would kindly donate to the raffle, also the club wishes to run a heat of 10 buggys for service personnel during this meeting with the aim of them racing for their own scotty's little soliders cup. If anyone can help then please email astroattack@nenevalleyraceway.co.uk
Whilst life costs are going up I can confirm that the entrance fee for the weekend remains at 2012 prices -
£15 full weekend
£10 Saturday or Sunday attendance only
We look forward to seeing you at the Nene

· Scotty's Little Soldiers

·
Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting the children of men and women killed in action while serving with the British Armed Forces.
The charity provides treats, trips and activities for families of the fallen with the aim of offering a respite – however brief - from the daily ups and downs of coping without a loved one.
Inspired by the experience of army widow, Nichola Scott, the charity honours husband Corporal Lee ‘Scotty’ Scott’s memory – both as a loyal soldier and a loving father – and provides a practical yet personal way for the public at large to show their appreciation for those brave individuals who make the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country.
Funds for the charity are raised through events, donations, merchandising and corporate sponsorships. Children will receive letters, cards, gifts, tickets for events and even fees for local sports or activities. In the long term, we’re aiming to buy a holiday home, so that families can take short breaks and enjoy building new, happy memories.
Now its the turn of the Nene to help put a smile back onto these Childrens faces
