Tyre wise these all work very well on dirt depending on the weather conditions I used a mixture of these...

Cheers Panch,

At £15 a pair and running 4WD (so same tyres all round) i want to make sure i'm buying something useful if needed.

Have got a set of J Concepts subcultures available to use and there should be a fair few sets of Blitz kit tyres available as our lot just use spikes indoors and outdoors.

The kit Losi 4x4 SCT tyres look and feel nice but whether the pattern works is something else...

This is why i wanted to know if practice was available day before first round to get a base set up.

haven't got any local dirt tracks to try and there will be differences in grip with dirt at different tracks... we have very thick clay at our track which when dry gives awesome grip with most soft pin type tyres as you get a blue groove.

Ignore the last bit though when choosing tyres for A1 Racing Club track.. because it has been covered in Astroturf for last 2 years, so a set of Koarse Kings and you are dialled! Bullseyes are very good but won't last long on Astro looking at wear rate after one 5 minute run... maybe better on grass.

Hi Learner, It wasn't intentional, There was a quote from M2kompressor saying Moto Arena was still a go, the question was...what surface will be ran on?

So I said moto arena will be ran on dirt as you said above, which you did !

Anyway..no probs

Hi ALL,
Just to clear up any confusion, round 1 will be held at silverstone buggy club located in the village.
If you go to www.ukshortcourse.com Which is now live you can get all the details from there.
Please encourage as many club members to book in for the series as possible, lets make this a really successful new series for an excellent class.
