I would have to agree with Ritchie, surely it would be better to have either just one meeting in a central location or you do 3 rounds in seperate locations, not keen on driving a lot of miles just to get to a meeting and with the price of fuel, its not really very cost effective for a lot of people.

Has anything been decided yet, with regard to a venue and dates? Will it be after the F345 at Coventry?

Sorry about the delay guy's but I am waiting on one person to get back to me with a date and I will let you all know so you can get things sorted.

We totally understand about traveling costs but we have also got to see how commited you are to becoming a part of our team.
I know we will not be able to please all of you but I hope we can try.

Thanks
Stu

Hi guys,

I can tell you little bit for now.

For the North, it will be on the 11th of September.
For the South, it will be the 25th of September.

It will be a FREE race day of a couple of rounds of qualifying and then finals.

I am hoping to start about 10 ish so its not too early or too late.

Tracks will be anounced very soon as I am still waiting on details.

Thanks
Stu.

I really like the idea behind this event and would be super stoked to take part in it. Sadly Ansmann doesnt organise an event like this over here in germany. Any information how to impress the ansmann people over here and who I´d have to talk to?

Hi,

You need to speak to Marcus as he is the Team Manager and you can find his details on the AR web site I think?

Thanks
Stu

Ok. Yes it is getting close and I am way behind.
It is going to be on the 11th September at Southport and the 25th September at Eden Park

We will be running a FREE days racing which should be 3 or 4 rounds depending on how many turn up.

It is going to be a relaxed day and hopefully you will have some fun

Ansmann are bringing a stall of products which we sell and use so you can see all on the day.

If you come to Southport there may be something special their but I can only hope.

We will be walking around the track and the pits talking to drivers and at the end of the day we will offer some drives out to you.

We are also going to give away a race car to the person who we feel deserves it the most.

Now remember, we are not just looking for good driving but good representation of our products. This will be at club, regional and national levels.

All you need to do is bring your racing stuff and enjoy the day and hopefully at the end you will have a sponsorship for 2012.

If you are a Nitro driver then just bring you radio and receiver and we will get you in a car to try for the day.

Thanks
Stu Wood
Ansmann UK Team Manager.

Considering bringing my son who has just had a Mad Monkey as his first car. He's getting practice on his own at kiddy at the moment but probably won't have done any racing.

Will drivers need a personal transponder?

Are there any cell/motor/tyre regulations?

Looks like the Midlands has lost out to this, any Ansmann drivers wanting to attend from the Midlands has at least a 2.30hr drive to get to any of these places, seems Ansmann want more than just a show of commitment, looks like we will also be supporting the fuel companies with all the fuel need to get there, shame really as there is a lot of Ansmann drivers in the Midlands who would love to attend but due to most peoples money restrictions wont be making it, its a shame a company like this has let a lot of people down with only having a north and south meeting, how can young Johhny persuade his parents to go on a 5 hour drive to go to a race meeting, not very well thought out this at all, and why is a member of a shop having to sort this rather than coming from Ansmann direct, I feel there is a commercial reason behind this, surely there must a be an impartial person sorting this and not have a hidden agenda to create more sales through this, as you can tell I wont be attending despite supporting Ansmann cars for the past couple of years in my local area, sorry guys this how I feel about this and feel very let down by Ansmann.

southport for me wuill be a 4 hour trip and epr is a good 2 hour trip!

you wont be the only one who has to travel some distance to attend, it was stated way before these tracks were realeased that it there was going to be a northern and southern track involved.

Sorry you feel like that but we can not please everybody. Regards the comment about me making sales on this, where can you see anything about anything other than Ansmann on that?
This is all about Ansmann and nothing else!
No shop will be there, no other advertising at all. Just Ansmann.
Regards to tracks in the midlands, I did try and get one but they wanted too much money and this is not about money, its about Ansmann and getting the brand up to where it should be and that is at the top like it is everywhere else in the World.
Could you also tell me another manufacture that even holds things like this?
If so, then where do they hold theres?
O and as though you are a trader and you promote on your sig, where is mine?
