Shock pre-load on setup sheets
What is this?

As far as I understood it should be this...

hrmmm. That's what I thought, but when I set my shocks up to this based on someone's setup sheet I got next to nothing in ride height. No where near the 22mm listed. I had to put like 25mm of gap to get my ride height up. using the same springs also just in case you wondered
Unless this one setup sheet I was using had an error and it should of been 26mm in stead of 6mm. could be Scrap that. Just checked the other sheets and the most they list is 9mm, but still a ride height of 20mm |

I have to run a lot of preload on mine . 4 durangos at our club and all run different amount of preload

so the pre-load is the gap between the collar and the top of the shock then

I would just set your car to match ride height, don't worry so much about pre-load on the shocks

Just reading this fella, check your droop screws on the rear wishbones as they would limit the ammount of rear ride height.

Yeah I checked these. the sheet said 2 turns. but with that much droop my driveshafts were at an insane level so I ran mine with 3 turns to be on the safe side.
