A quick thx for a decent night. very happy with my new b5m, after quick tire change/ battery reposition. Now i need more practice driving 2wd. thx neil for taking and posting the videos I can now see I put power on at the wrong times for a 2wd. On a side note, my esc is set to more of an aggressive acceleration rather than smooth and i haven't calibrated it to the radio properly lol.

Thx again for the fun night

Considering how much I improved throughout the night (14-17 laps) with just minor alterations I found it very fun drive, first time 2wd and I managed it better than my b44 when i first started with that.

I had new front and rear tires at first so they didn't give any grip, changed the rear to a slightly worn set i used to test outside made it a whole lot better, fronts didn't bight enough still tho, felt like it could do sooo much better on the corners.

it doesn't take too long for the front tyres to break in, after another nights racing they should be fine. I forgot go ask you the other night , do you have any weight on the front? It might help with front end grip

No weights in it, only cosmetic changes to it from stock currently, might help tho. Im pritty sure toning down the aggressive acceleration will make corners easier tho. I think mybrother has some wieghts spare. Only problem is that there is restricted room in this chassis so might struggle a little finding locaion for it. Are milled motor mounts anygood? Do they reduce wieght enough to have any effect on the car?

Milled motor plates are generally for better heat dispersal, and looking Pimp! I'd try to gain steering mechanically first before adding weight though sometimes it is the only resort....

Interesting, should have realised it was for heat purposes rather than wieght reduction. Ill run it with the changes to acceleration and better tire condition before I start adding wieght, also going into corners at better speeds will help. Always seemed to go in too fast or too slow (although going In slower was the better idea of the two).

Thx for help guys I wasnt sure id like 2 wd but I must say im loving the B5m a lot more than my B44.

Were you running mini spike yellows front and rear? Defo the best tyre choice I found.
