Default Kyosho 4wd

I recently dug out a kyosho 4wd car which I've had for probably 15 years, how can I tell what model it is. I don't have a bodyshell or wing, but I think it's an optima. It has a carbon type chassis and it takes saddle batteries. I remember last time I tried to use it, I didn't have wheels that fit, as the hexes were different size to my modern wheels. Do the vintage cars still work with modern electrics, I don't want to ruin it by sticking lipo and a brushless motor in it.

It's a bit dusty, but looks intact

It's a mid, unsure if LWB. Think there may be a thread on Facebook on this car if no one here can help but these are still restorable so long as your patient.

LWB mid, probably a custom (these are most common lwbs, custom has plastic shocks, custom special has golds)

If the chassis is real carbon (not frp) it could potentially be a mid special or a converted SWB but these are pretty rare.
