Default X6 Squared plastic chassis

X Factory announces release of a new “plastic” chassis for the National Champion X – 6 Squared. The first ones were ready just two weeks ago and were rushed to the Team for testing. Tom Cockerill used one to take a convincing win at Blyth, dominating all four qualifiers by wide margins and winning two A mains in equal fashion. Ellis Stafford used the plastic chassis to wrap up the U.K. Championship, winning for the second year in a row with his X – 6 Squared.

Engineer Paul Sinclair said, “The new chassis is made of the same material as the original ‘graphite’ one, except that the carton fibers are replaced by fiberglass. Therefore the new part has a bit more flex. This will be an important tuning aid; drivers will use graphite on some tracks and plastic on others.”

X – 6 Squared Kits will continue to be supplied with a graphite chassis, and the plastic ones, part # 1006, will be available as an option. All hobby stores which stock X Factory Kits and parts should have #1006 in stock in just a day or two, so the fastest way to get one is through your local hobby store. They will be on the X Factory web store very soon.
