Default external gears failing

as alot of you guys know their has been a problem with the recent batch of external gears failing, so myself and the help of my friend tony we have modified the layshaft to take a steel pinion as we think that it is the alloy gear what has been the problem

Just seems like more money to spend to me on a car that my 12 year old son saved up very hard to buy in the first place and has not finished a race with yet and before you ask it,s not down to him smashing into things it,s down to the car in my opinion not being up to it out of the box.

So unless you want to go out and spend another 100 quid or more to upgrade it you are buggard and not all of us have this sort of money to blow.

Maybe the upgrads should be included in the price in the first place and then we would have got a better car in the first place.

I have no doubt that they will replace bits that are missing but would they send me 100 quids worth of upgrads to make the car run how it should out of the box because all i get told is you need this that and the other to get the car to a finish a race, and thats more money that i think you should not have to spend.

You should not need any upgrades to finish a race.
Talk to Schumacher. They really are helpful.
