Whether or not this is a track car is up for debate...
'99 1.6 VTR with "weight reduction", fancy suspension and track tyres
Never been on track - infact it hasn't come out of the garage for nearly 6 years...

Default Track Day Car

This is my little beauty. Porsche 924S
It handles very well but is a little under powered compared to modern engines.
May fit a Porsche 968 engine in it one day?

What's the best way to get your car to the Nurburgring other than driving it? I guess a trailer. I am considering getting a Ariel Atom end of year/early next and driving it all that way will not be an option really as I wouldn't have any hearing when getting there! curious how people do it.

I've raced bangers and prods/rookie rods for about 10 years. Currently got a very used corsa rookie rod which is going to be converted to a segto prod b for next year. Bit of dirt racing coming up

I have a Metro GTI track car. Well, it's actually a 1.1 shell done as a GTI replica.

It's had quite a bit done to it but it's currently not got the engine in it.

It's had new rear quarter panels on each side, new doors, wings, bumpers, rubbstrips etc and a complete re-paint in flame red (it was previously nightfire red). It's had the strengthened GTI strut tops welded in, rear turrets, locks and 'foreign' wiper holes/rear wipe welded and filled. Welded to MSA spec, full safety devices roll cage, internal brake lines with adjustable bias, hydraulic clutch conversion, rear strut brace, rear wheel well delete, MGF clocks/subframe/brakes etc. Lotus Elise 160vvc engine (also found in MG-TF/Rover Mg Zr160), Dave Andrews ported head, aftermarket exhaust cam with offset dowels, Janspeed manifold, full stainless system with cat bypass pipe, carbon airbox, WoN nitrous kit with 50BHP jets and progressive controller, remapped ECU, 14"'Compomotive MO's, cut slicks, high level brake light, MGF rear hydrolastic cans (fitted on front), GTI rear hydrolastic cans, fully poly bushed, stitch welded front lower arms etc.
