Default Staggered start

Just wondering what the members thought about are start system.
I personally think it works really well but after racing at Tyne met and suggesting it to them I had a lot of people saying how bad it would be
Obviously we will go with the majority so have a think about it and let me know what way you prefer

I've been reading the tyne met post and honestly I think a staggered start is a better option.

As you have said yourself, a GP start leads to a pile up at the first corner where someone brakes too early, spins out or generally just crashes and everyone goes into them and each other.

If everyone was on equal footing - such as a tournament final - then yeah, sure - but with a mix of newbies (i'm looking at me) and experienced drivers - It's a recipe for damage.

No need to change a system proven to work, I don't see a lot of people condemning this method just a handful of disciples

Default Start

I agree with you and also like the clipart
But I think a stick is a bit extreme

MAY 2, 1933
NAZIS SEIZE CONTROL OF TRADE UNIONS
Trade unions were abolished and workers, employees, and employers were forced into Nazi organizations.
Storm Troopers (SA) and police occupy the offices of trade unions. Trade union officials and activists are terrorized. The trade unions' records are impounded and their assets seized.

1. The Committees Plans to create a Camel are abandoned.

2. Staggered Starts are to be never mentioned again

3. Big Brother IS Watching YOU!!

Dropping the H-Bomb (and I don't mean hydrogen) is a good way to kill a thread

Back to topic - as stated I'm in favour of staggered starts, but then I usually crash on the first corner and have very little control over the steering at present so that's probably for the best.

That said, for all I know, a GP start may be better. We could always give it a quick trial for a heat or 2 to see which is preferred if there are enough people curious about it.

NOOOOOO

keep the Staggered starts. GP starts will only result in mayhem at the first corner keep the GP start for the final this system works well and is proven

Let's not bring the chaos theory from tyne met to the barley mow
