If not Xray.

Default 4wd

Got a B max 4 iii as well but 2wd is my main thing seems pretty good buggy and you can swop tyres etc between your B Max 2. But to be honest the best performing 4wd's at our club Shrcccc seem to be them blasted Xrays. But a lot is down to preference of course.

read today that Schumacher are working on a new 4wd buggy, and it will be designed around astro track use rather than clay track that the K1 aero was designed to be used on. Might be worth waiting for that

Iv always been a tlr driver and just lately switched from the 22-4 to the X-ray xb4 14 and I must say I'm hugely impressed. So I'd go down that route!

Don't forget the Kyosho Lazer ZX6, damn good car straight out of the box.

Just a update i got a new 4WD i went with the HB D413 and what a kit
i raced it at the first round of the oople series after finnishing building it the
friday before and i poled and won the c final the car was great in qualfying and mde some big changes on finals day and it was over 20 seconds faster over the 5 mins so cant argue with that and the times i got in the finals was b finals pace. so very happy with my choice.
