Question Losi brushless motors - any good?

Hi all,

I'm looking at getting either a 7.5 or 8.5 for my B4 and was wondering how the Losi motors compare to Speed Passion, LRP, etc. They are quite a bit cheaper than most other 'race' brands and was wondering if there is a reason why? Or in other words, why should I buy Speed Passion, LRP, etc instead of a Losi motor?

Thanks.

I own neither a losi motor or a speedpassion, but hear good things about both.

The Losi looks terribly like a Hobbywing motor and esc (but different colors). So, good quality. But a little overpriced.

personally dont agree, the ezrun stuff is fantastic from what ive seen, but the losi stuff is well worth the £120 for the combo! Plenty of people run them at my club and ive bought one myself, ive only heard good things about the motors too...

I picked up a second hand 6.5 combo for around £50 might be worth looking at a full second hand combo, spare speedo then too
