I talked to the guys behind Aero yesterday at our National in Kampenhout. If I've understood it correctly, they are in the proces of making the boxes, packaging and composing the manual. They expect the first kits to be ready in 2 weeks.

Hi All,

Any indication of what rate Aero are expecting to process through the pre-order list once they get going ?

[Anyone who remembers (or rather suffered ) the original BJ4 pre-order should understand where that question is coming from ...]

Jon.

I spoke the Aero people at the Euro's and what I understood from them ( if I'am not mistaken ) was that they hoped to have it ready in 2 weeks.
For prices you have to ask them.

Shipping in july will obviously not happen as it's august tomorrow

As I see it this racing season is soon over, so no real point in rushing things now, won't be able to compete with it this year anyway. So I'd prefer they make the kits 100% and take no shortcuts!

But some pics of the production parts we deserve to see by now!

On the new web page www.aeroracing.eu :

"At this moment we are in the final stage of testing, we want to be sure to deliver high-standard products to our customers. At the end of August there will be a press release about our estimated time of release."

I saw some parts this weekend - the only photo I was allowed to take was of the wheels though. It all looks very good indeed!

I guess they want to surprise some people - I think they should throw a couple of photos out there to tease, but they are doing it their own way I guess.

Sounds good! (Can we see the rims?)

And it's not Christmas yet...

As to price: it's 2-3 times cheaper than a Durango. Which is also impossible to get hold of... I say the price is A-OK!

Will it be manufactured in China on a long term basis? Or is production planned to stay in Belgium?

You may have a point

He's even painted the shell in his own colours...

Btw. I guess Hardy's gonna be very competitive with his D4 in 2008...
