Default 21st December meeting

As stated in another post, we are opening up at 4pm on 21st Dec for some extra practice time. The actual racing will start at normal time (7) but there should be a good couple of hours open practice

Please just keep looking on here nearer the time in case there is a load of snow or other catastropies!

Yes it will be good to get some informal running around the track

Remember if you can't make it early the racing still starts at normal time

Got brand, spanky new Redline 10.5t
Ive heard its one of the coolest running motors around. We shall see...
As long as I will keep checking my temps and stop using throttle trigger like an on/off switch I should be fine

See you Tonight

Great turnout of buggies tonight, and it was good that we opened early and got the track down by 5.

2 hours of open practice followed by extremely close racing.

Pity only 5 people stayed behind to help pack up

I've never seen a room empty so quickly, most of the buggy drivers had left before the end of their final! sorry, I must have missed something?

No worries mate, no need to stop if your cars broke and you have loads of kids running about It was just that one minute there were 8 drivers in the buggy final, then there were only 4 drivers left running, and by the end of the final nearly everyone had left the building! didn't even marshall never mind help pack up..........but never mind, mustn't moan.

Good choice. Had a similar problem in my Blitz. Stock, plastic one snapped on second lap in my first race ever. Went for allu one. Bit pricey but worth all the monies. Its rock solid and earthquake proof now
Good steering is essential, ive learnt it hard way

I wish I could of stayed but I was back in work at 23.15 and I needed some sleep but I only did one race but I did help setup. But when I got home my work call and I had to go in for 21.00 so I had 2 days with no sleep not good. But I do feel guilty not being able to help pack up at the end of the night but it is the usual suspects that beat a hasty retreat to avoid packing up. It might be a good idea to wait until these races arrive before the circuit gets built and then pack up before the last race so they understand it is all about team effort. Or charge more for late arrivels who dont help out.

no worries Andy, it was more the bizarre way they had all gone before the end of the race which was odd to say the least

thanks for the help setting up
