Default BK2 or CR?

Hi all,
was wondering, what is the main difference between the Losi xxxbk2 & the xxxcr?
Is it major or are they very similar? Do they handle differantly or is there no massive benefit?
From the few i've seen i can't see much between them but then again i haven't scrutinised them to any real extent.

Thanks

Barry

Hi Barry,

Hope the xx4 was good to you at Telford!!

Differences:

Steering rack, gearbox, rear wishbones, hubs, shock tower, t plate i think those are the main differences.

Mine is going up for sale, KE converted to CR, only done 1 run since the conversion and 5 runs in the previous setup. (runs = meetings)

Hi
i've got a CR on order for Greg but might be interested in buying one or a converted BK2 in the near future, gotta sell some other stuff first as spent a small fortune on stuff recently, any prices would be a bonus for cars up for sale

thanks

Barry

next year i shall be using a XXX-CR mainly for the reason that it's a culmination of all of the XXX series put into one (plus some new bits) so you get a decent kit no without the need to modify highly.....in other words the way it should be.

After discussions with a few Losi lads they seem happy with the car out of the box and that was pleasing to hear and for myself and any prospective XXX-CR owners i'm sure!

Thanks for replies guys
I'm probably gonna get one (as the boy is getting one) so that we have same spares & tuning options, got to sell my old B4 first though

Ian the xx4 went ace for Greg at Telford & again at the F2's at Holbeach, great car, cheers.

BTW i've got some old xx springs from many moons ago, does anyone know if they will fit the newer shockers & also are they the same rate? I've some old & new Greens for example but they are differant colours/shades, will they be the same rate?

Cool, good to hear

The springs have always stayed the same colour, size and rate. (apart from BK dirt ones, which were blue rears (pink rate) but they are VERY difficult to find.
