The chassis landed the other day and it's better in hand than pictures and I'm really happy with how it's turned out thanks Damo .

So I did a bit last night and have hit a snag, I was going to use my MMS rear box but as its shaped round the rear diff and is for a later car obviously there's nowhere for the upper wishboan mounts to bolt to.

So here's my problem what do I do replace he rear end with a standard rear end or replace it with a camber link that will fit.

On another note I got the WASP front box in and it fits perfect, I'm just waiting on some new standoffs for it

I know and I'm also thinking that it's not really an XLS unless I use the correct upper links 😕 So I've got some carbon I'm gonna see what I can come up with over the weekend.

Might see if I can come up with some braces like jerone has done here http://s113.photobucket.com/user/JER...T0260.jpg.html

The silver front box looks good with the black, but the black rear box looks even better!

Well in the intrest of it being an XLS I had to go with an original wishboan setup so the rear box has gone and been replaced with some more side plates that started out a rather pinkish red

A bit of oven cleaner later and there much better.

Now assembled with a Team Tanaplan alloy wishboan brace as I forgot to order a carbon one 😁

And as I had one I had to add a MMS heatsink for good mesure

Do it, this is being built to race and I can't wait to get it finished.
Just thought I hadn't put up a pic of what I got from Damo, I'll make sure I get a pic with the hat on if I win to collect my trophy 😂

Looks good man, I guess the shorty didn't fit in the rear most position because of the big heatsink?

Did you try the saddles for fit in it?.....duh......of course saddles won't fit if the shorty doesn't fit in rear position...

I did try the saddles but there's nowhere near enough room for anything else. So I had to go and treat myself to a new shorty so I can cram all my electrics in

Onto the shocks last night, the first set of varishocks I've built and I'm loving the idea of the adjustable Pistons.

All fitted up and the wheels thrown on and it's now standing

Farther and son together lol

as you can see in the last pic I'm struggling with rear toe the manual says 24mm of the bar showing and it's massively toeing out. Can someone help me out with the lengths that you've got on your cars plaese
