that may sound good but depends if you want a set of very hard tyres that last forever or to race competitively...

... if the rest of the racers are using softer spikes that give more grip then you are getting cheap driving around a track time than others but following everyone else to the finish line.

From buggy racing a good suited tyre choice can gain you literally laps on a poor one.
