TBH: We looked at the X-6. Kinda why Hara ran it at Hot Rod Hobbies whilst I was in the states...
The mid engined cars do work better on some surfaces and some tracks. As Hara said to me in J'English: "Maybe here, X-6 best car (as we ran all 3), maybe elsewhere, maybe not so good".

At the end of the day, different cars suit different drivers. I personally couldn't drive a B3 for Toffee. Yet my Losi XXXCR was planted when everyone moved to B4's as their XXXCR's weren't going so well. I couldn't see their problems.

I looked over a lot of geometry and stuff and just tried to get the best of everything in one car... Then add my own little take on it.

No point re-inventing the wheel.. Maybe just polish it a little more and make it smoother!

well i wot be rushing out to buy one, not i only because i cant afford it, but, as some people have said also, im just undecided on whether or not i like the look of it

however... i wouldnt mind getting one of these and making my own Carbon Fibre chassis for it, it make it a bit wider then the metal one and stick my electrics on either side of the batts....

anyone else getting excited about modding one of these ?

Not saying that this is a bad thing... I own a B4 and love it. What I meant by 3 piece chassis, is the main section of the car, where the batteries are, not the rear section.

I too am interested in seeing the shell for this car. Other than the rb5 most 2wd buggy bodies look generic to me where as the 4wd bodies look awsome such as the d4 and 501x

You can't call the chassis 3 piece because of the side pods. The main structure of the chassis, from front bulkhead to rear bulkhead and back is 1 piece only. The other 2 pieces serve no purpose to the structure of the chassis like the cars you are comparing it with, they're there to hold the electronics and keep the track out.

That thing is ugly. Hopefully it runs as well as the D4.

In my humble opinion, this car looks like a turd. It might look alright without those uber huge side pods, and the 1990 style steering rack and front shock tower. The rear end looks alright from what I can see. I don't think slotting the chassis was the smartest of moves either, what about li-po?

my $0.2
