We aim to have the track built by 8am. So booking in will start around 7.15-7.30.

First heat should be on the line no later than 9, so we should be done for 4pm id say

Oh OK. Just Danny said a few posts back that the first race would be on the line at 9, but practice doesn't usually finish until 9.30 with the first race on the line at 10.

9am start is earlier than a National!

I've just spoken to Dianne on the phone.

She will open the gate at 7am, for people to come in and build the track. Booking in from 7.30. Practice from 8am. Racing to start 9-9.30am or thereabouts.

Your setup from the last round will work just fine bud. I havnt changed mine at all since round 1 It is fairly bumpy so I tend to run mine quite lightly damped on the back with black springs. Blue up front.

Thanks for the video Stew for the videos, and thanks to Batley for hosting the round, especially Mark, Dianne and Derek in race control.

The track was really good, and despite it deteriorating, it didn't affect the racing. All through the heats and finals there were some great clean races. Thanks to Damo, Steve and Peter for some cracking clean racing in 2wd and 4wd, I really enjoyed it.

Thanks to Diane, steve Lawson, and the batley club for a great day.
It was a little bit busy doing both classes, but it worked out fine.
Welldone to mark Harrison on the commentating.

And a huge Welldone to the 10 guys in the 4wd A final for one of the best finals in a long time.
It was so much fun to race in I don't think anyone minded where they finished.

Roll on teesside for some of the same.

Thanks to Diane and the team at Batley for running a well organised meeting and for the hard work that had obviously gone into preparing the track. Thanks to Steve Lawson for spraying the corner markers between practice and racing - didn't catch one all day after that. Not that I went any faster mind

A final thanks to Diane for helping with a disappointed Joshua after his final, he's recovered enough to take his medal into school today
