Default Carlisle Radio Model Car Club - events

Carlisle Radio Model Car Club (www.crmcc.org.uk) will be attending the Pirelli International Rally on 4th & 5th May 2013 and the Carlisle Gala on 11th & 12th May 2013.

The "Pirelli Rally Village" will be based at Carlisle Racecourse, which is also the venue for the rallies headquarters and service area and will feature a wide variety of car related stands with historic cars, kit cars, drag racers and drifting machinery all on show, along with a lot of stands featuring rally related merchandise.

A feature of the rally village this year will be a miniature rally stage hosting radio controlled model cars with spectators having the opportunity to try their skill, and possibly win a prize, while there will be another "Hands On" opportunity to drive a virtual rally stage in the unique Pirelli rally car simulator.

The Pirelli Rally Village , which offers Free Admission will be open on both days of the rally, and , together with the opportunity to visit the service area and see the cars being worked on, provides a full and interesting experience for all motorsport enthusiasts.

Exhibitors and displays include Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Mitsubishi,Suzuki, Motorsport Mugs, HMA ART, Red 5 Motorsport, Bounceabout, Carlisle Radio Control CC, Go Motorsport, Pirelli Simulator, Arnold Clark Car/Van Hire, Mad Mark Watson, NEACC, Quads, Autocross Buggy, Subaru Rally Car, Multi Master Top Gear Van, MR2 - Drifting, BMW 328i - Drifting, Cumbrian Subaru Owners, Solway Autograss, Crown Vic, BTRDA, Clubman Rallycross as seen on Top Gear!

The Carlisle Gala event takes place the weekend after the Pirelli International Rally, on the site of the club's racetrack on the sports fields behind Down-a-Gate Community Centre and provides a superb opportunity to bring RC Racing to the public's attention.

At both events the public will be able to try out their RC Racing skills with Supastox cars running throughout the weekend. The club would like to thank Schumacher Racing for their support with this.

Any one interested in helping out at either event should contact Jocelyn Meadowcroft at jojellybean@hotmail.co.uk or through www.crmcc.org.uk
